How It All Began
UNNAT NGO was founded on 17 April 2023 by Neena Abrol — a dedicated educator and social worker from Jammu. She served in Government schools in Jammu before dedicating herself fully to social service.
Inspired by her family's deep roots in social work — her mother and father both served with Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Kanpur — and encouraged by her husband Mr. Ankush Abrol, a renowned social worker from Jammu, Neena founded UNNAT NGO with one mission: to uplift the marginalized, educate the underprivileged, and empower women and youth across Jammu & Kashmir.
What started as small activities in 2023 has today grown into a registered organization with 40+ activities, 25+ schools covered, and over 50,000 people helped across 5+ districts of J&K.

To raise awareness and improve lives through Health Awareness Programs, Anti-Drug Programs, Skill Development Workshops, and Environmental Awareness — empowering students, women, and marginalized communities to build a stronger India.

What We Do
Health Awareness
Free medical camps, medicines, HPV vaccination drives, cervical cancer awareness, and women's health programs across government schools and communities.
Anti-Drug Awareness
Educating students and youth about drug abuse and traffic violations through seminars and interactive sessions at colleges across J&K.
Skill Development
Practical workshops in candle making, salad preparation, embroidery, and yoga — equipping students with life skills under the PM SHRI scheme.
Environmental Awareness
Plantation drives, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns promoting environmental responsibility among students and communities.
